This game was made for the Bigmode Game Jam 2025 (Theme: POWER).

Array is not Enough! is a deck-building automation game. 

Card modules can be arranged and placed onto your array setup to maximize your power output. Every 5 turns you will be able to pick a new module to add to your collection. Each card picked up has a unique perk which can build into your deck synergies!


Controls

Power On Button/Spacebar: Ends your turn and runs your array setup

Control Speed Button (right side): Controls your array simulation speed


Helpful tips

Each card module you get has 3 main attributes:

  1. Resistance, which is how much power will be drained when passing by the module. 
  2. Power Output, which is how much power it can generate at the start of each turn. Transmission 
  3. Strength, which is how far the module can transfer power across, effectively skipping some other module cards.

All power travels from left to right with the end goal being the Power Depot. 


Is the game balanced? Absolutely not lol.

It would be nice to have a way to break toast loops early so that turns don't lag so much in the end game.  Maybe toast could move randomly the first 50 passes or something each turn, just so there's a hard cut off eventually and toast with negative resistance passing to other toast with negative resistance doesn't take so long to finish.
